Webdesign prices

A website can not be sold by weight, length or quantity, because every customer has varying demands as for design and features. I calculate prices individually dependent on the estimated time requirement.
This prices are flat fees. Therefore I can write you an estimate only if you let me know about your websites features and how much content will have to be included in a first step.

Here are a few indications which might help to estimate the time requirements for your website:

• What do you want to achieve with your website? Inform? Represent? Sell? Entertain?
• Who will visit your website? Who is your audience?
• What should your website visitor in the best case do when visiting your website?
• Am I to take over an existing website and to redesign it or should it be totally new?
• Are there any corporate Design guidelines to be observed?
• Do you already have artwork? If so, in which format and resolution? Is it necessary to edit it for internet usage?
• Do you already have text? If so, how many standard A4 pages? Who shall enter those first contents into your website?
• Do you need special functions for your website?
• Are there special technologies (e.g. flash, javascript, CSS 3, embedding fonts) you want to include or exclude?
• Who will update your website and how often?
• Who will backup your website after publication?
• Will the website be multilingual? What languages shall be provided?
• etc.

Some customers want to have billing on an hourly basis. I provide both: flat-rate pricing and hourly billing or a combination of both.
